Refund and Returns Policy

At FutureHato, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with the products you received, we offer a straightforward refund and returns policy to ensure your shopping experience is seamless.
This policy outlines our refund and return procedures, eligibility criteria, and how to return items.
1. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- Plants: We accept returns on plants that are damaged, defective, or incorrect upon arrival. If your plant arrives in poor condition, please contact us within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or refund.
- Non-Plant Items: Items like pots, planters, gardening tools, and accessories are eligible for return if they are unused, undamaged, and in the original packaging.
- Order Confirmation: We require proof of purchase (order number, email receipt) to process any returns.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns on items that have been used, planted, or altered in any way after delivery.
2. How to Return an Item
If you wish to return an item, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email our customer service team at info@futurehato.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number, the reason for the return, and a photo of the damaged or incorrect item (if applicable).
- Return Authorization: Once we have reviewed your request, we will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) and instructions on how to return your item.
- Packaging: Please ensure that the item is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. For plants, we recommend using a box that protects the plant from movement or rough handling.
- Return Shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect. We suggest using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns to ensure that your return is received by us.
- Processing the Return: Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it and process your return. We will notify you once the return has been received and whether a refund or replacement will be issued.
3. Refunds
Once your return is processed, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. The time it takes to receive your refund will depend on your bank or payment provider, but typically it will take 5-7 business days for the refund to appear on your account.
- Full Refund: If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, you will receive a full refund, including any shipping charges you paid (if applicable).
- Partial Refund: If the returned item is in a used or non-resellable condition, we may issue a partial refund or reject the return.
4. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product, please return the original item and place a new order for the desired product.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and cannot be refunded or exchanged:
- Gift Cards
- Items marked as final sale or clearance
- Plants that have been repotted, planted, or altered
- Items not in their original packaging or used
6. Damaged or Defective Products
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at info@futurehato.com with the following information:
- A photo of the damaged or defective product
- Your order number and details
- A description of the issue
We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In most cases, we will offer a replacement or a full refund, including return shipping costs if the product is deemed faulty.
7. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account again, as it may take a few days to process. If the refund hasn’t been posted to your account after 7 business days, contact your bank or credit card company to inquire about the processing times.

8. Cancellation Policy
We process orders quickly to ensure timely delivery. If you need to cancel your order, please contact us within 1 hour of placing the order. Once an order is processed or shipped, we cannot guarantee that we can cancel it. In such cases, you will need to follow our return procedure once the item arrives.
